Here's what I came up with:
Flowers by Paperclip Nail Art Design by Simply Rins
I used 2 coats of Nars Zulu as base color. For the flowers, I chose Orly Solid Gold and Orly Kiss the Bride. I didn't want to cover the beauty of Nars Zulu so I opted for subtle colors and I thought gold would be perfect. If you want your flowers to stand out, choose a contrasting color.
Dotting tool and a paperclip
I idea is quite simple. Since the edge of the paperclip is elliptical in shape, I figured it will create an oval shape when used similar to a dotting tool. And it did! How cool is that? Aside from flowers, you may use it to create oblong eyes for cartoon characters or for any other purpose you may want to use such shape.
I created a video nail art tutorial for this for those who might be interested to try this technique. This is something a nail art beginner would find easy to do.
Thank you for watching and I hope this will inspire you to create lovely nail designs. Let me know what you think of this idea. Don't forget to subscribe so that you will not miss any of my nail art tutorials.
